You may want to reconsider the purchase of these tomatoes at the supermarket.
Two tomato brands, Ray & Mascari and Williams Farms Repacks, were recalled in a total of 14 states due to the presence of Salmonella, according to two distinct opinions of the Food and Drug Administration of the United States.
No illness has been reported to date on either distributor.

The 4 -account ripe -made ripe tomatoes from Ray & Mascari were sold in clay shell plastic containers of 20 ounces and 4 points.
They have a UPC code of UPS # 7 96553 20062 1 and a lot of Lot # RM250424 15250B or Lot # RM250427 15250B on the label of each case of 12 containers at 4 pack. The company received and reconditioned the tomatoes from Hanshaw & Capling Farms in Immokalee, Florida, which began the recall and informed Ray & Mascari.
The labels on containers say “ripe tomatoes” and “wrapped by Ray & Mascari Inc., Indianapolis, in 46204.”
Meanwhile, the tomatoes that repacks retoulect the tomatoes from Williams were sold in two different brands: Williams Farms Remacks and H&C Farms. They included tomato boxes at 3 and 60 accounts with the Williams Farms Repack label and two tomato boxes of 25 different pounds with an H&C Farms label.
