The current trade war between the United States and China has once again had an impact on the automotive industry. According to USA Today, Ford Motor Co. has stopped sending certain vehicles to China thanks to massive prices implemented by China on vehicles imported from the United States
China’s prices reach 150% and were announced in response to the 145% rate of President Donald Trump on goods imported from China in the United States

Two sources familiar with the situation told Detroit Free Press that the raptor microphones, Mustang sports cars and Bronco SUVs built in Michigan are no longer sent to China. Lincoln’s browsers made in Kentucky are no longer heading in China either.

Because the price is so high, it makes vehicles unaffordable in most cases. For example, the F-150 Raptor costs nearly $ 100,000 in China, so a 150% price is a huge price increase.
Although these vehicles are no longer exported to China, Ford always provides certain parts used in vehicles in China.
