Chirag Paswan, the party leader Lok Janshakti (RAM Vilas) or LJP (RAM Vilas), should advance his father’s heritage. The son of the late Minister of Union Ram Vilas Paswan, a pillar of the Bihar, was inducted in the office of the central government led by Narendra Modi.
He was sworn in office, as well as more than 70 other ministers, Sunday (June 9) evening at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The results of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 provided a third term for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party. However, the BJP failed the majority brand of 272 and has become dependent on its partners NDA, notably Telugu desam Party (TDP) and Janata Dal (United), to return to power.
The Lok Janshakti Party of Chirag Paswan (RAM Vilas) also played a key role in government training at the center. The electoral results of Bihar Lok Sabha show that Chirag came out of his father’s shadow, Ram Vilas Paswan.
Here is an overview of the climb and climbing the new face of Paswan du Bihar.
2024 Bihar Lok Sabha elections
The BJP and its JD (U) ally won 12 seats each over the total of the 40 parliamentary districts of the Bihar. While the Safran party’s voting share exceeded 20%, Nitish’s party obtained 18.52% of the total votes.
The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) was the third largest party in terms of seats, winning the five seats he disputed this time. He obtained a share of voting of almost seven%.
Chirag Paswan has bagged the siege of Hajipur Lok Sabha who had been synonymous with his late father. The founder of the late Lok Janshakti (LJP) had represented the siege eight times in Parliament, not losing it only twice in 1984 and 2009.
While Chirag collected 615,718 votes, his closest rival Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Shiv Chandra Ram lost with a margin of more than 1.7 Lakh votes.
Chirag’s party also won Vauli, Samastipur, Jamui and Khagaria.
Another ally of the NDA, the Hindustani Awam Morcha (secular) won the only seat of Lok Sabha which he disputed in Bihar.
Despite a high -voltage campaign by the Indian block led by Tejashwi Yadav from RJD to Bihar, the opposition alliance could not bring a complete reversal to the state. The RJD won four seats and the Congress three.
The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) or CPI (ML) (L) obtained two seats and the remaining siege was put into bag by an independent candidate.

Chirag Paswan proves his courage
These election results supported a new Dalit leader in Bihar. It was a prestigious battle for the young Paswan, who has now proven that he is the “real” political heir to his father Ram Vilas Paswan.
The young chef is in Delhi for the NDA meeting on Wednesday, June 5, while the block returns to power.
#WATCH | Chirag Paswan says: “We have challenged 5 seats and won every 5. This is a big victory for Lok Jan Shakti (Ram Vilas). We met the expectations of the alliance as well as that of the Prime Minister. For this, I express my gratitude to the people of the Bihar … My Prime Minister … https://t.co/ygfhepsycj pic.twitter.com/l8uuhr5qjc

Chirag made his foray into politics over a decade. In 2011, he played in the film Miley Naa Miley Hum Faced with Kangana Ranaut, who also goes to the lower room of Parliament after his election as Mandi of Himachal Pradesh on a BJP ticket.
However, it was politics that interested Ram Vilas’ son. “Acting was something I wanted to do, but I was very clear that it would ultimately be politics. It was always my final destination. You can call it Dynastic or something else, but the fact is that politics is what I know best, “he told the press agency Pti in 2014.
Chirag made his debut in Lok Sabha in Jamui in 2014, emerging victorious due to the popularity of the father and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He kept Jamui in the 2019 general elections.
After the death of Ram Vilas Paswan in 2020, a family quarrel broke out between Chirag and his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras.
Sauras, the younger brother of Ram Vilas Paswan, divided the LJP in two in 2021. A faction – LJP (RAM Vilas) – is led by Chirag, while the other – Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) – is led by pares.
At the time, Paras took five of the six LJP deputies with him, leaving the faction of his nephew with one and no deputies.
In the 2019 polls, Hajipur Lok Sabha’s headquarters was won by Pashupati Paras on an LJP ticket, beating the RJD candidate by more than two Lakh votes. In fact, the undivided LJP had won the six seats it had disputed in the last general elections.
After the split, the uncle and the nephew engaged in a bitter battle on the constituency of Hajipur Lok Sabha in the Bihar Vaihali district. For both, the fight was aimed at claiming the heritage of Ram Vilas Paswan and being a “real” political successor to the deceased founder of the LJP.
However, it was not an easy road to Chirag. He was out of the NDA led by the BJP in 2020 and had challenged the elections of the Bihar Assembly that year. In 2021, the BJP ranked on the paras side in the rift with its nephew, leaving Chirag isolated.
While Paswan’s vote rallied behind Chirag, the BJP realized who was the “real” heir to the heritage of Ram Vilas Paswan.
At six percent, Paswans represents the largest constituent of the caste population listed in Bihar.
In March of this year, the chief of the RLJP Pashupati Paras resigned from his post as Minister of the Union after the NDA did not give a single seat to her party during the Lok Sabha elections. Instead, the saffron party chose Chirag above its uncle, allocating five seats to the LJP (RAM Vilas).
A senior BJP official had said Footprint At the time, “the essential was that Paras did not bring anything to the table. Chirag does it.
Chirag and his uncle were categorical about the Hajipur Lok Sabha headquarters competition. While Paras had said that he would dispute Hajipur, he did not throw his hat in the ring this time.
The results of Tuesday (June 4) show that Chirag came out of his father’s shadow and made a mark in the Bihar policy. The victory was softer for him when he fought the elections by himself because he could not seek the direction of his father and his uncle paras and the cousin Prince Raj remained away from the countryside electoral, noted Times of India (you).
As the elections approached, the chief of the LJP (RAM Vilas) had said Indian Express That he felt the “burden of transporting” the heritage of his father. “To top it off, I must meet the expectations of the inhabitants of Hajipur, who was almost synonymous with my father for more than four decades,” he said.
Chirag showed that he was able to take his party to new heights to Bihar.
