A 21 -year -old woman was allegedly struck while a man who tried to protect her was also attacked in a vicious fight after the NRL Bulldogs VS Knights match at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Sunday evening.
The woman was hospitalized after the alleged incident when the man does not need treatment.
Detectives investigating the alleged assault have published images of eight people they want to talk to.
“Public and security members intervened and the people involved have left the premises shortly after,” NSW police said in a statement.
“It was said to the police that a 21 -year -old woman had been unconscious while a man, also 21, was attacked while trying to protect the woman.
“They were helped on the scene by the staff until the woman was taken to the Concord hospital for treatment for injury to the face and undergo other tests; Man does not need hospital treatment.

The police said that eight people of interest “are described as apparently Mediterranean / Middle East and aged in their twenties and have published the following rupture of the photos.
• Person 1: A man of average construction, with black hair, a black beard, black glasses and at the time wore a hooded jacket.
• Person 2: A large construction man, with a black beard, no mustache and at the time wore a black and white hat, a light blue hood, black pants and black sneakers.
• Person 3: a man of large construction, with black hair length, a full black beard and at the time wore black shorts, white shoes, a black and white checkered jacket with a football jersey around his neck
• Person 4: A medium -sized man with black hair went back to the back, buckle style beard and at the time wore a football jersey, black pants and white shoes.
• Person 5: A woman of average construction and at the time wore a beige scarf, dark glasses, a black football jersey, black pants and a black shirt with long sleeves in the jersey.
• Person 6: A woman under average construction at the time with a navy blue scarf, a black shirt, black pants, black and white sneakers.
• Person 7: A woman on average being built with red hair that wore a white football jersey at the time, a football scarf, blue jeans and black shoes.

• The person 8 is described as a woman of small construction with mid-length black hair which and at the time wore a blue football jersey, blue jeans and white shoes.

Friday evening, the alleged attacks follow a wild fight in the same place as more than 10 roosters and the south fans exchanged punches before security tries to intervene.
It is understood that the confrontation occurred late in the second half, with 22 people escorted from the place.
Police surveys on the fight continue.
