The White House doubles the recent complaint by President Trump suggesting that the Biden administration has spent more than $ 8 million “making mice transgender”.
The rodents’ remarks came Tuesday during the President’s speech at the Congress, as he highlighted all unnecessary federal expenses discovered by the Government Ministry of Efficiency, including the millions of dollars that would have been submitted to mice in transition.
“It’s real,” said Trump, triggering a quick response from CNN fact auditors.
The network initially supposed that the president referred to a pot of $ 477,121 set aside between 2021 and 2022 for different projects aimed at better understanding how female hormones can affect the immune system. They all involved tests on monkeys.
“CNN’s false news immediately tried to check it,” the White House retaliated in a press release on Wednesday, “but President Trump was right (as usual).”
He then provided a list of $ 8.3 million in federal subsidies for six different health studies on the potential impacts of the treatments used in affirmative sex care, which all involved mice, according to the White House.
This list included $ 299,940 awarded by the National Cancer Institute in 2023 for a project examining the risk of breast cancer in transgender men. It is a question of comparing cancer levels in mice and those who receive testosterone therapy.
Additional $ 455.00 was distributed by the National Institute for Infectious Allergies and Diseases to a study to examine how stupid sex care could have an impact on the effectiveness of HIV vaccination.
A third study – awarded $ 735,113 – examined how the intestinal microbiome could interact with hormone therapy, while another – has granted $ 3.1 million – sought to better understand the effects of asthma in all people, including those who are transgender. A fifth study used $ 2.5 million to analyze how testosterone affects reproductivity in transgender men.
The rest of the pot, $ 1.2 million, helped examine how hormones, such as testosterone, influence brain control of reproductive hormones and fertility. This study, however, was based on “transgenic mice” – which means that the mouse has been genetically modified in one way or another – and not transgender mice.
