The United States and the United Arab Emirates combine on a huge artificial intelligence campus presented as the largest establishment of this type outside the United States, the White House said on Thursday.
The Abu Dhabi data center will be built by the Emirates G42 company, which will associate several American companies on the establishment, according to the press release from the Ministry of Commerce. It will have a capacity of 5 gigawatt and will cover 10 square miles.
The names of American societies have not been disclosed.

“In water, American companies will operate data centers and offer cloud services managed by the Americans throughout the region,” said trade secretary Howard Lutnik in the press release. “The agreement also contains solid security guarantees to prevent the diversion from American technology.”
The announcement comes when Trump visited the United Arab Emirates as part of a broader trip in the Middle East, where he met heads of state and announced several agreements.
The first phase of the water project includes an AI data center of 1 Gigawatt.
