Freshly out of the organization of a star match that celebrated the most important member of the Warriors dynasty, Stephen Curry, the team will pay tribute to the other distribution members during their first Homestand out of the break.
The players of the 2014-15 team will be on site on February 25 to honor the 10th anniversary of the title of the NBA which launched their race which produced four Trophies Larry O’Brien in seven seasons, the Warriors announced on Tuesday.
The celebration will take place at the half-time of his match against the Charlotte Hornets, two nights after the organization withdrew the n ° 9 jersey from Andre Iguodala, who won the MVP of the finals in 2015 and helped Golden State two other titles in 2017 and 2022. The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday evening, with the Mavericks and Klay Thompson in the building.
Although Thompson cannot attend the festivities later in the week, the organization said that Festus Ezeli, Shaun Livingston, Brandon Rush and Marree Speights would be part of the 2015 team players present. They will receive special recognition on the ground at halftime, and the team has interactive activities planned for fans on the big table throughout the match.
Triumphing 4-2 on Cleveland riders, the 2015 team won the first franchise championship in 40 years – its fourth in the general classification – and turned out to be the start of a dynasty that resulted in three other Championship parades and six appearances in the NBA final. Their 83 victories between the regular season (67-15) and the playoffs (16-5) are the third highest of all time behind the Bulls of Chicago only 1995-1996 and 1996-1997.
