‘The Voice’ Top 5 Revealed: Bryan Oleson, Josh Sanders, Asher HaVon, Karen Waldrup and Nathan Chester

The voice season 25 is heading towards the finale!

Monday, each of Top 9 singers took the stage for their first concerts in hopes of winning the American vote and moving on to next week’s concerts. Coaches Reba McEntire, John legend, Chance the Rapper And Dan + Shay are able to offer reviews during live broadcasts, but the final competitors are determined by viewer votes.

Tuesday’s results show saw host Carson Daly bring the top 9 singers back on stage to announce the top four singers who received the most votes, regardless of team affiliation. The remaining singers performed one last song in an effort to achieve American victory. Instant backup vote to keep them in the competition.

ET spoke with the Season 25 coaches before the first concert of the season, who admitted he was a little relieved not to have to make the “stressful” decision to send the team members home.

“We feel really strong about our team, but seeing people go home is heartbreaking, honestly, it’s something we weren’t prepared for when we signed up for this show,” Dan admitted. “At least we don’t have to make decisions anymore, we don’t have to be the bad guys anymore.”

Chance agreed, saying, “I love the live shows…It’s bittersweet, it’s towards the end, but it’s also when you get the most real performances and you really see how the artists grew throughout the season.”

The voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. PT/ET on NBC.
