The View’s Sunny Hostin hits back at Hillary Clinton for speaking ‘disparagingly’ to students: ‘It’s problematic’

Sunny Hostin has a Hillary Clinton problem. In this morning’s episode of View, Hostin fired back at the former secretary of state for apparently “denouncing” students involved in pro-Palestinian protests.

The conversation, as most do on View, began with a discussion about Donald Trump and the upcoming presidential election, which some Gen Z voters have opted out of due to Joe Biden’s handling of the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Clinton recently addressed college campus “radicalism” during a recent appearance on Hello Joe, during which she claimed that many students “don’t know much about the history of the Middle East, or frankly the history of many parts of the world, including our own country.”

Hostin took a lot of time during the Hot Topics segment this morning to respond to Clinton’s comments.

“For Gen Z, I think the worst thing we can do is tell this generation that they’re stupid, that they’re misinformed, that they don’t know what they’re doing,” a- she said, adding that she was raising two “very engaged” children who “research” and “source” the various political issues at stake.

She continued: “They will not vote for Trump. They won’t vote for a four-times-indicted, twice-indicted loser. They won’t vote for him because they hear their mother say it all the time.

The former prosecutor then directly called out Clinton, saying the former secretary of state had “criticized” young people in her remarks.

“It’s a bad decision for this generation, because when you say these kids who go to Ivy League schools, (where) the acceptance rate is like 4%, they’ve worked their whole lives, they’re very intelligent, they “are very educated – when you say, ‘They’re stupid, they don’t know what they’re talking about,’ that’s problematic,” she said.

Hostin added: “You’re not bashing this generation. you speak with this generation. And I think this generation could very well save our country.
