The two victims injured outside Mariucci Arena following a graduation on Friday were returned from the hospital, according to the University of Minnesota.
A spokesperson for the U of M told 5 Eyewitness News that the 19-year-old men and the 49-year-old men who had been killed had been released on Sunday afternoon.
The same spokesman said the investigation was still active, but could not comment on the potential accusations against the suspect who was arrested by police on Friday.
The identity of the suspect remains not confirmed by the police.
Wayzata public schools confirmed that the 49-year-old victim is a parent of a high school student in Wayzata on Sunday afternoon.
As previously indicatedThe University of Minnesota Police Service (UMPD) said that around 8:20 p.m. Friday, a shooting occurred outside Mariucci Arena following a graduation ceremony for the Wayzata high school.
Police responded to paramedical places and paramedics brought the two victims aroused in the hospital and placed a suspect in police custody.

Dear families and staff of Wayzata,
We write to provide an update concerning the shooting incident which occurred after the graduation ceremony of the Wayzata high school outside 3m Arena in Mariucci.
We continue to work closely with the University of Minnesota police service while the investigation continues. For the moment, no additional details on the incident is available.
We can confirm that one of the two people injured during the shooting is a parent of a graduate of Wayzata High School. With his permission, we are grateful to share that he has been released from the hospital and that he is currently recovering. The second victim was also published, although no additional information has been made available for the moment.
Naturally, a number of rumors have already started to circulate. I want to strongly encourage our community to avoid speculation or propagation of unaccussional information, as this remains an active investigation. At this stage, we have not been able to confirm any link between the shooter or the second victim and our graduation ceremony.
Note that several security measures have been in place before and during the ceremony, including detectors of operational metals to all entries, as well as the presence of agents of school resources and the police and security staff of the University of Minnesota. In the future, we are committed to continuously examining and strengthening our security protocols and exploring ways to prevent such incidents in the future, ultimately improving the experience of the graduation ceremony for all students and families.
