The university football star William Hardrick killed at 22 when the man is arrested for murder

A man was reportedly accused of the murder of university football William Hardrick after the 22 -year -old was killed in a fatal car accident in Alabama.

Investigators say that Hardrick’s dreams reach NFL were tragically found after an alleged drunk driver hit eight cars.

Hardrick – A defensive back for Austin Peay State University in Tenneee – was killed while returning home to Adamsville, Alabama. He was declared dead on the scene after a car left the road and turned several times, said the coroner.

According to KPLC, John McAdams was accused of murder, as well as to leave the scene of an accident and Dui, on the fatal accident.

It is said that a sobriety test showed that McAdams had a blood alcohol content of 0.09% – on the legal limit of the drink.

“I still don’t believe it,” said Hardrick’s father Ervin Stone in Kplc. “I am at that time when it’s just a dream and I have to wake up.

Stone added: “Why William? William was the child who did everything correctly … He crossed all these obstacles (and) beat all these obstacles just to meet this.

Hardrick was described as “an exceptional young man” in a statement by Austin Peay Jeff Faris football coach.

“Our team is broken by his loss … He improved everyone around him and had a real impact on and out of the field. We raise the Hardrick family in prayer while we mourn this tragic loss with them.

Hardrick grew up in Adamsville, where he was an outside competition receiver and defensive return to high school. The 22 -year -old spent two seasons with the state of Mississippi, where he played in a first year match in 2021. He was transferred in 2023 to Miami.

He has played 18 games for the Redhawks in the past two seasons, in which 32 solo or assisted, forced an escape and broke five passes.

“We are really saddened by the death of William Hardrick, a new member of our Austin Peay football and family program,” said Vice-President and Director of Austin Peay athletics.

“All our thoughts and prayers are with the Hardrick family today. We will do our best to support his friends, family and teammates at the moment.
