TAIPIEI / PALO ALTO – The American government restricted anyone, anywhere in the world, of the use of Huawei’s AI chips, an unprecedented repression against the giant of Chinese technology despite recent de -escalation of the tariff war between Washington and Beijing.
The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), which is part of the US trade department, published new guidelines on fleas for artificial intelligence requests on Tuesday. Among these was an “alert” to the technological industry that the use of advanced chips from China – namely the Huawei Ascend fleas – without license, it is raped of the American export control rules.
