More than half (59%) of the British opposed the prices imposed by US President Donald Trump last month, against 15%. The opposition included a net 21% of supporters of the reform in the United Kingdom, a party considered more closely aligned with the American president, which means that reduced prices of the automobile, steel and aluminum are likely to be welcomed.
Americans were also opposed to Trump’s rates from 45 to 34%, although Trump voters supported their introduction from 67%to 13%. However, to achieve an agreement, there has been a bipartite consensus on the abolition of tariffs of 10% coverage on British goods, including 32% net of Trump donors, which have not yet been agreed.
The terms of the agreement seem to have bypassed the most controversial aspect of negotiations.
The agreement will allow high quality American meat exporters to sell their products in the United Kingdom, but British officials have refused to bow to put pressure on food standards.
There was a strong aversion to allow sales of chlorinated beef and treated with hormones in the United Kingdom as part of any trade agreement
Only 18% supported the abolition of the ban on selling chlorinated chicken compared to 60% opposition, which reduced all voting intentions. Similarly, only 19% supported by allowing the beef treated at the hormone against 57% against.
