Washington’s capital and Winnipeg planes clashed in a battle of the best NHL teams. Would the caps deliver brands rights for the Eastern conference or defect in their first home game in a few weeks?
Cole Perfetti stuck at home a rebound on a power game to open the score. Dylan Samberg clicked on a point point on the skate of Pierre-Luc Dubois to double the advance of Winnipeg. Dubois found his own bounce goal to obtain the capital on the board.
Alex Iafallo responded with another deviated objective to give Winnipeg two. Taylor Radadys broke a sequence of ice to bring Washington back into one. Josh Morrissey opened the third with a stroke of the slit before Tom Wilson responds with a net.
Alex Ovechkin equaled the match with a thunderous in one point. Morrissey put another in overtime to put an end to things.
The jets beat the capital 5-4.
- There was a team on the ice for the first period, and it was not the capital. Jets look faster in any way, and it doesn’t really seem difficult for them either. PLD had a good luck, but if not, Connor Hellebuyck could have stayed motionless to make his other stops. Washington was stuck in their man defense to man, chasing the cycle of jets over and over, Shift after the quarter work. Once they got the ice cream washer, they were too tired to do something other than throwing a muffin to the goal and getting a change.
- It is good to see guys from the “dot com caps” in the building. Many of these people were involved in my very first memories of the team. I was a big guy from Dainius Zubrus, perhaps also Brian Sutherby, Matt Pettinger and Jason fingers.
- Capitals always look good in these deputies. I am of the opinion, as I am sure that many of you are, that the Hurlant Eagle must be back largely in the future. The script logo must go and the Weagle is not a main logo.

- Many, a lot, much better in the second period. They succeeded in their game, especially in the first 15 minutes of the framework, and should probably have entered the third with the match equally. John Carlson made some brutal reversals, one leading to the third goal of Winnipeg against the game race.
- Taylor Raddysh Finally, I am on the board again, striking for the first time since November 30 against the Devils of New Jersey. He was apparently the only person in the building who knew he had marked until Ethen Frank saw the washer stuck behind the back bar of the net.
- Pierre-Luc Dubois extended his sequence of points to four games with a goal against his former team. PLD has eight points (5g, 3A) in his last seven games.
- Charlie Lindgren I fell from the capital of capital for the second time this season. I like him to look like a beetle stuck on the back and needed help to recover two times. Professional athletes, they are like us.

- Another brutal turnover at the start of the third period immediately placed the capital on the back, while Josh Morrissey converted to put the jets back. Self-inflicted errors hurt more. Fortunately, they did not simply go quietly in the night, but this game could have been very different if they had taken care of the washer.
- Tom Wilson provided a certain momentum with its 21st goal of the season. Wilson is only three goals from the gap in his career brand of 24 goals during the 2021-22 season. Dylan Strome provided the main assistance on the marker, reaching the 50 points mark for a consecutive third season with the capital.
- Alex OvechkinBUT number 877 to equalize the match. What a rocket.
- What game it was, huh? Just as announced with these two teams. I love to see it.
