The detainee who would have stabbed Tory Lanez in prison this week was identified as Santino Casio, and he is already serving for life with the possibility of parole, confirmed the position.
A representative of California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) told the post that Casio, 42, was the subject of an investigation for having allegedly attacked the rapper in a housing unit of California Correctional Institution, Tehachapi, Monday, May 12, around 7:20 pm.
The Casio rap sheet lasts a mile long and dates back to 2004, when it was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole for second degree murder, an attempted murder in the first degree, personal use of a dangerous or fatal weapon, and inflicts a great bodily injury, according to the spokesperson for the CDCR.
His crimes also did not stop during locking.
On January 3, 2008, during his imprisonment, Casio was sentenced to an additional six years for assault by a prisoner with a deadly weapon of force likely to cause large bodily injuries, the CDCR representative shared with the post.
More than 10 years later, he received an additional two years for the possession and manufacture of a deadly weapon by a prisoner.
The Mugshot of Casio, dated June 7, 2022, reveals a bald and strongly tattooed man.
On Monday, an investigation into Lanez’s stab wounds was “initiated” by California Correctional Institution, the state penitentiary system, where it purges its time to shoot Megan’s stallion. We were told that the prison agency of the State prison, the office of the Inspector General, “was informed” of the incident.
The Kern County District Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that they “await an official complaint following the investigation” before possible accusations.
Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, would have been stabbed more than 10 times, confirmed his team via Instagram after the incident.
The rapper was transported urgently to a neighboring hospital in Bakersfield, California, an ambulance.
“Tory was stabbed 14 times – including 7 injuries in his back, 4 at his chest, 2 in the back of his head, and 1 on the left side of his face,” read the Instagram post.
“His two lungs collapsed and he was placed on a respiratory system,” said the declaration, adding that he was now breathing alone and recovered from his injuries.
“Despite the pain, he speaks normally, in good humor, and deeply grateful to God that he crosses,” he concluded. “He also wants us to thank everyone for their prayers and their continuous support.”
In December 2022, Lanez was found guilty of having shot Megan at the foot after leaving a party at Kylie Jenner’s house in July 2020. He was sentenced to 10 years for crime.
The rapper “Wap” took a stand during his trial, testifying that Lanez fired the weapon at his feet and shouted “dance B -” while she was moving away from the vehicle in which they were driving.
She also said Lanez had offered her a huge million dollars to be silent.
Megan underwent surgery to remove the ball fragments that have been housed in his feet of the incident.
In January, the Grammy winner obtained a five -year ban order against Lanez after saying that he still harassed her despite her imprisonment.
Lanez will be eligible for parole in 2029.
