A French tennis player said that he had received a threat from death to the net by his opponent in a Challenger tournament on Wednesday afternoon.
Corentin Moutet participated in Open Aix Provence Credit Agricole in Aix-en-Provence this week, playing its link in the first round against Pavel Kotov.
A place in the second round remains at stake for the two players, with a bad light having suspended their fight at 7-5, 3-6 at Moutet, and with the third set at 5-5.
But the 26 -year -old may still not be returned to compete with his Russian opponent, after alleging that Kotov said he would kill him ‘if he returned with him to the net.
In an article on social networks which was then deleted by the player, Moutet said that Kotov said to him: “The next time you arrive at the net, I will kill you.
“One day, someone will kill you.”

Directing the rest of the post in his disciples and the ATP, Moutet added: “There was not even a warning. Apparently, these words are authorized in the court.
“How (ATP) do you expect what I don’t get involved if you don’t do your job?”
After deleting the social media message, Moutet later returned to the platform to reshape a report of events, adding: “I’m going to have trouble sleeping …”

But the pair will be forced to continue its confrontation Thursday afternoon.
Moutet has often courted the controversy during the tennis tour, more recently curled up in a force test with the world No75 Alexander Bublik during which the star Kazakh proposed “to meet (Moutet) in the parking lot”.
