Hamilton’s move to Ferrari sent shock waves in the F1 world during his announcement last year. Although change teams can often be a difficult transition, the deputy director of the Ferrari team revealed that the British driver has adapted himself transparent to his new environment in Italy.

Speaking of the first Hamilton interactions in Ferrari, Jerome d’Ambrosio stressed that the capacity of 39 years to connect with people made the transition smooth. He said Hamilton had made an impression on his new colleagues.
“Lewis does not need help to be introduced into a team or get to know people. He is quite incredible with people, and the team already loved him after the first day,” he said.
“The areas where it may have been very useful is already to know his team (support). A driver does not come alone in a team; they have their own team, their own management and people around them. I have already interacted with them in a past life,” he said.
Hamilton spent more than a decade in Mercedes, winning six of his seven world titles with the Arrows Silver. His first reigning victory in 2008 came with McLaren. Now he embarked on a mission to bring Ferrari their first pilot championship since the triumph of Kimi Raikkonen in 2007.
Lewis Hamilton had an incoherent season of 2024, finishing seventh in the World Pilot Championship with 223 points. He achieved only one race victory, but was often upgraded by his teammate George Russell. Hamilton withdrew from the race in Australia and experienced difficult weekends where he finished in front of the first five.
Hamilton will then be seen in action during the opening race of the Formula 1 2025 season. The Australian Grand Prix is expected to launch the new season at the Melbourne Grand Prix circuit on March 16.
