After 14 years, CBS announced that the long-running daytime show would end later this year. The series, which will return for a shortened season 15, will air its final episode in December.
“The speech broke new ground when it launched 14 years ago by returning daytime programming to CBS with a refreshing, award-winning format,” the network said in a statement to CBS. In addition to recognizing current hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Nathalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell And Sheryl Underwood, CBS also highlighted those who were previously part of the talk show community. “We would also like to thank our former hosts and colleagues who have contributed over the seasons,” the statement said. “We truly appreciate the skills, creativity and dedication that everyone involved brings to the show every day.”
