The body of an apparent drowning victim was found in Cherry Creek Reservoir.
Staff from Colorado Parks and Wildlife and South Metro Fire Rescue found and recovered a body from the water, CPW said Saturday.
A 29-year-old man disappeared at the reservoir on May 7 and was presumed dead. He was on a tube pulled behind a boat when he separated from the tube and disappeared.

He was not wearing a life jacket at the time of the accident. Authorities searched for him immediately after the incident was reported.
The body has been turned over to the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office who will determine an official cause of death and positive identification.
