Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) told Breitbart News a victory in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization could solve the “greatest injustice of our life” which is Roe vs. Wade.
Hawley – a former lawyer to Supreme Court Justice John Roberts and considered one of the best constitutional lawyers – said after hearing oral argument on day one that Roe vs. Wade is “very much at stake”.
Hawley, who was also a former Missouri attorney general, explained that many Supreme Court justices have asked “fundamental questions” about Roe deer. He predicted the Supreme Court would rule 6-3 in favor of upholding Mississippi law.
Hawley told Breitbart News it could be the case which could reverse Roe deer and solve one of the country’s greatest injustices.
Hawley explained: “It would mean the achievement of a historic goal which I mean, frankly, I just have to say personally, that Roe deer is one of the main reasons I got into politics, and I think that’s true for many, many other people. This is one of the main reasons I was interested in law. And this is the greatest injustice of our life.
The Missouri populist called the potential move “seismic” and could actually “lower the fire” on the abortion issue because it would allow states to pass their own laws restricting abortions.
I think you would see real deliberation for the first time in 50 years because the audience could really matter and their voices would really matter, ”he added.
Hawley said: “I just have to say that someone who thinks this dispute is one of the worst Supreme Court decisions ever, I think it would be a monumental moral landmark and reverse a great injustice.”
“And after listening to the argument, I think it might be the case that finally reverses Roe’s great injustice.” It all depends on Amy Barrett, ”Hawley wrote on Wednesday.
And after listening to the argument, I think it might be the case that finally reverses Roe’s great injustice. It all boils down to Amy Barrett
