The former NFL star, Donald Driver, insists that transgender athletes should not be allowed to practice female sports – rather urging biological men to respect the sex they were born.
In the midst of fierce controversy on the growing number of trans athletes in female sports or girls, Donald Trump signed an executive decree earlier this year prohibiting them from female competitions, a decision that divided opinion across America.
However, to Driver, a quadruple receiver off the Pro Bowl and a Super Bowl champion, there is only one side of the debate on which to align.
“I think, you know, God did to you how he did you,” the former hero of Green Bay Packers told Fox News.
“And I think, at the end of the day, if he made you a man, then you participate in male sports. He made you a woman, you participate in female sports. I think that, at the end of the day, you cannot compete at this level.
“Girls are sometimes faster than guys, guys are sometimes faster than girls. Sometimes guys are stronger, sometimes girls are not. So, I think, at the end of the day, this is how God did you, so you have to compete in the sport in which God made you.

Donald Trump has signed an executive decree prohibiting trans athletes from female sports this year
“This is where I consider that I am adapted to that, knowing that I have girls and boys. You must be very open -minded to the situation, but you must also understand that you must be very transparent in the conversation.
“For me, I think that if God has done you in a certain way, then it is the sport in which you compete.
Trump’s ban on protecting women in female and girls sports has been congratulated by many, while some continue to protest against moving after stating that Athletes Trans would have the right to compete in the category they wish.
A certain number of states have challenged the decree since its signature in January, notably Maine and Illinois.
During a meeting in February, Trump met a group of American governors and clashed with the Maine Democratic Governor Mills.
During the meeting, he threatened to suspend funding from Maine if the state refused to comply with a decree he had signed with the exception of transmian sports athletes and girls.
His threat has encouraged Mills to answer: “We will follow the law, sir. We will see you in court.
Trump frequently embarrassed transgender athletes while on the campaign track. His decree was congratulated by supporters who say that he will restore equity, while criticisms say that the directive undermines the rights of a tiny minority of athletes.
