The strategy analyst breaks down how she spends $ 648 per month in fitness

“I really started to get into work when I was in finance so that I could point something that I did that was for me every day,” she said. In a work that took most of his day, taking care of his health was something that his elders had to respect, she said.

She started training in the gymnasium of her office four times a week, running on the treadmill or making peloton training sessions on an exercise bike.

She made six figures in this role, but she left in February 2024 to take a less paid job than she appreciates more. The new job is “in fact 9 to 5,” she said. She uses part of her new free time to exercise.

She ran a half-marathon in the spring of 2024 and has since passed through fitness lessons, which she was six or seven times a week.

“I don’t really have a fitness goal. I just think when I train, I am a much happier person. It gives me the impression of having already done something for me that day,” she said.

Rachel also films content, such as during fitness lessons or while holding a board.

From the summer of 2023 to January 2025, Rachel used Classpass, a subscription service which, where users buy credits to pay sessions in a variety of gymnasiums and fitness studios. She spent between $ 27 and $ 90 per month on the subscription, according to the number of courses she took.

Now she has chosen to engage in a pilates studio and pays $ 250 a month for unlimited lessons there. The studio offers pilates, yoga and “sculpture” lessons, all in heated rooms.

“There were several days this week alone when the cancellation costs of $ 20 on the Pilates class were literally the only thing that brought me out of bed in the morning,” she said.

She also runs, which is free. “I really don’t think I am paying a training session that you could do for yourself,” she said.

She also makes the Fitness ODD class with her friends as a social event in places other than her Pilates studio, which tends to cost between $ 30 and $ 40.

“A large part of the reason I started to publish on Tiktok was because I would just see people get free training clothes, deodorants, crazy things for free on Tiktok,” she said.

Rachel said brands now send her gym clothes and sneakers for free, so she no longer has to buy them for herself.

Rachel does not see the smoothies of $ 13 that she drinks as an integral part of her health, but she buys them four times a week because she loves them.
