More than any other NFL team, the Steelers will have a new offense in 2025.
After exchanging the wide receiver George Pickens in Dallas this week, Pittsburgh is the only team in the League without its main smuggler, its leading receiver or the 2024 leading receiver on the list.
The Steelers had already lost two quarters of last year, Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, in a free agency, as well as the best ball carrier from last year, Najee Harris.
It is rare that any NFL team loses their quarter-Arrière 1, its ball carrier and its wide receiver in the same offseason. Last year, this did not happen at all: each team of the League kept at least one of these three players of the 2023 season in 2024.
But the Steelers are not too interrupted by their losses, because the difficulties of their attack in the section led to a former promising season ending with a sequence of five consecutive defeats, including a defeat in the Wild Card Round of the Playoff. They hope to sign Aaron Rodgers, to play it like the Aaron Rodgers of yesteryear, and to organize a much better season in attack.
And if this does not work, expect greater changes to steelers’ offense in a year.
