- Mctuminay played for United for more than 20 years before leaving in summer
- He shone with Napoli while United continues to fight in front of the goal
- Listen now: everything is launched! Does the Premier League really need to look at the objectives celebrations?
The former Manchester United midfielder, Scott Mctuminay, now has more league goals this season than Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee combined, we can reveal it.
MCTOMINAY spent more than two decades playing for United from the Academy to the first team, making more than 250 appearances before leaving their childhood club for Italy in summer.
The 28-year-old joined Napoli in a contract of 25.7 million pounds sterling in the transfer window and came to life there as a duck in the water. Given the license to travel the midfield, he managed seven times in 23 games in all competitions.
His strike against Udinese in Serie A on Sunday wore her league total for the six – goals that United could do right now. Ruben Amorim continues to seek a solution to the problems of notation of the objectives of his team, but still remains to find one.
Hojlund and Zirkzee fought for the form in United Colors. The first arrived in a contract of 72 million pounds Sterling in the summer of 2023, marking 23 times in 74 games since, while Zirkzee has found the net five times in 36 games since his summer arrival.
Regarding the action of the league, in the meantime, Mctuminay is Claire this year. Zirkzee has three first league strokes in his name, while Hojlund has two this season – a clumsy look for United.

The united boss Ruben Amorim continues to seek solutions to goals problems on his side
After starting the injured season, Hojlund found the bottom of the net at his second start of the campaign in the league. The Dane scored the winner in the 2-1 victory against Brentford in October after Ethan Pinnock canceled the opening of Alejandro Garnacho.
He was trusted to start the games with Erik Ten Hag, then Amorim, but fought in front of the goal. His strike in the 3-2 defeat of Nottingham Forest was a consolation, and he has not scored in the nine games since.
Zirkzee, meanwhile, went to a leaflet after his arrival of 36.5 million pounds sterling in summer, scoring the only goal of the Red Devils of their 1-0 victory of the opening day against Fulham.
However, he did not score for 11 more games a splint against Everton in early December – and he has not been scoring since.
Amorim went so far as to try Kobbie Mainoo at the front to find a solution – play an academic gradation field there instead of more than 100 million pounds sterling of attackers. Mctuminay, ironically, is also a midfielder graduated from the Academy.
The Scotsman finds himself in a title race and the center of the Antonio Conte system. If Unis hadn’t moved it, it could have been a key cog in what Morim is trying to do.
