The star of the Warriors Draymond Green says that he is “sick” of “ridiculous” attempts to make him look like “an angry black man”.
He spoke in the locker room after receiving a fifth technique from this playoff series while Golden State was beaten Thursday by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
During the second quarter, Green was penalized for an apparent elbow in the face of Naz Reid of Minnesota. He then exploded to the referees, which prompted the hoots at the Target Center.
Finally, the Golden State teammate from Green, including Stephen Curry, was forced to calm him on the sidelines.
The 35 -year -old man is two technical faults with a suspension of a match. This would represent a blow for the Warriors, who are already without injured curry.
Head coach Steve Kerr warned Green that he had to be “careful” to move forward, but the attacker thinks that he is the victim of an “agenda”.

The star of the Golden State Warriors exploded to civil servants for the decision Thursday evening

His Warriors teammates, including Stephen Curry, were forced to intervene and calm Green down
“I am not an angry black man, I am a very successful and educated black man with a big family and I am super in basketball-I’m great in what I do,” he said, according to The Athletic.
“The agenda to continue to continue making me look like an angry black man is crazy. I’ve had it up to here. It’s ridiculous.
A single player in the history of the NBA – Rasheed Wallace – has more ejections than Green (23). In December 2023, the 35 -year -old man received an indefinite suspension by the NBA for the Suns star, Jusuf Nurkic, hitting.
It was his third ejection of the season and the NBA said that punishment took into account “the repeated history of green acts”.
After the defeat in Minneapolis, Kerr told Athletic: “He will have to be careful … he will have to stay composed and I am convinced that he will do it because he knows the circumstances.”
Thursday evening, Julius Randle collected 24 points and 11 assists while the Timberwolves took advantage of the absence of Curry to guarantee a 117-93 victory which equalizes the second round eliminatory series in a match each.
Curry is sidelined by tension with left hamstrings which will probably keep it at least until next week.
