The star of the MLB, Nick Castellanos, continued his bizarre tendency to strike circuits the same day as the major historical moments, while the Slugger of the Phillies went a few hours after Alexander Ovechkin broke the NHL NHL record of Wayne Gretzky.
Ovechkin exceeded the big hockey on Sunday when he scored the 895th goal of his career, in a match against the Icelanders.
Later in the day, Castellanos struck a big slam for the phillies during a possible 8-7 victory against the Dodgers.
And it is far from the first time that Castellanos has interrupted, preceded or followed a distinct significant moment.
The trend started in 2020, when the Reds broadcaster Thom Brennaman was caught up in a hot micro using a homophobic insult during a match.
He apologized for his words (which finally cost him his work) in a later round, and Castellanos incredibly hit a Home Run during the advertiser’s Mea Cupla, which led to a now infamous call from the play.

“I am proud and consider myself a man of faith, because there is a journey in the deep left field of Castellanos and it will be a home run,” said Brennaman. “And so it will make a 4-0 ball game.
Castellanos also struck a home run on July 13, 2024, a few hours before an assassination attempt was made on Donald Trump, who then presented himself for his second term as president.
About a week later, he added to the advantage of the phillies against the pirates with a solo Home Run-Run.
The explosion occurred a few hours after the president of the time, Joe Biden, abandoned the next presidential race.
In addition, Castellanos was also long during a match on July 5, 2021 – interrupting a praise of the Royals broadcast on a veteran of the Second World War – and the following year during a tribute to the dark day of the Memorial on television.
And last June, Castellanos also produced a winning RBI of the match – although not a home run – a few hours after the death of the baseball legend, Willie Mays.
Although the idea that Castellanos’ circuits were correlated with unhappy events have become a common joke among fans of the MLB, his wife, Jess, has already told fans to cut him.

“PSA to all Nick Castellanos joke tweets: something S *** TY happens every day in the world finds a new joke,” she wrote on X in 2021.
“And the quantity of responses and DM out of respect is absolutely surprising by all these trolls on the internet … But I’m sure they are great people in real life,” she added later.
The Grand Chelem de Castellanos on Sunday was his second circuit of this season for the Phillies, in nine games.
He reached 23 for phillies last season and has 235 circuits in his career.
