The LSU basketball star and the 2023 national champion Flau’jae Johnson will give up the WNBA 2025 draft and stay at school for the next season, according to several reports.
Johnson, a goalkeeper, will remain in Baton Rouge under head coach Kim Mulkey in a move reported by The Athletic.
She still has a year of eligibility in university basketball and had to announce her decision to enter the project on Monday.
However, due to LSU’s progress towards the eight elite of the NCAA 2025 women’s basketball tournament, she was authorized 48 hours after the elimination of her team to make a decision.
