Korie Robertson spoke of the well-being days of Phil Robertson before the patriarch of the “duck dynasty” died at 79 years old.
Last week, she told the post that Phil’s health “decreased very quickly”.
Phil has fought against several health problems, Including Alzheimer’s disease.
Korie, 51, who is married to the son of Phil, Willie, 53, said that watching Phil when he was dying was “so difficult to look at”.
She added: “But he is so loved, and the whole family comes around him and takes very good care of him.”
Korie and Willie confirmed Phil’s death on Instagram on Sunday evening.
“We are celebrating today that our father, husband and grandfather, Phil Robertson, is now with the Lord,” wrote the Robertson family in the post.
“Thank you for the love and prayers of so many people whose life has been affected by his life saved by grace, his daring faith and by his desire to say to all those who would listen to the good news of Jesus,” continued the declaration. “We are grateful for his life on earth and will continue the heritage of love for God and love for others until we see him again.”
The family added: “We know that many of you like it and have been affected by their life. We have a private service for the moment, but we will soon share details on a public celebration of their life.”
The successful reality series “Duck Dynasty”, which originally took place for 11 seasons from 2012 to 2017, is back for a revival. June 1 (9 p.m. on A&E) and already renewed for a season 2, “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” revisits the Robertson family.
As we say in the show, the Robertson family prioritizes “faith, family and ducks”.
The series of renewals is now concentrated around Korie, Willie, and their six adult children and eight grandchildren.
The original “duck dynasty” followed the Robertson family, who has the outdoor hunting and leisure duck commander in West Monroe, Louisiana.
The first in season 4 scored more than 11 million viewers in 2013.
Phil was part of the original show – and has launched the family business with a patented duck call – but in recent years, he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
“It is unable to be in the series at the moment,” Korie told post.
She added that she went to visit Phil With her daughter, Sadie, 27, shortly before her death.
“He doesn’t say much anymore. He doesn’t talk much, ”she said.
But, she recalled that during their visit, Phil “looked up and said something like:” full steam in front “. It was so soft.
“He didn’t say anything else that made sense, but he just said that to (Sadie), and it was really special.”
The family “cherished” these moments with him, she explained.
Phil was married to Kay Robertson, 77 years old. They had four adult children, including Willie, 53, Jase, 55, JEP, 46 and Alan.
Phil also revealed that he had a secret daughter, Phyllis, 50, of a case in the 1970s.
Korie said that his mother-in-law, Kay, is not doing well either.
“She is actually in several of the first episodes of this season,” said Korie, referring to “Duck Dynasty: The Revival”.
“Over the season, she also had health problems. And she could no longer be in progress, “she continued. “So we are just grateful that Kay has been on some of the previous episodes, and we will really cherish them.”
