The wide receiver of Kansas City chiefs, Rashee Rice, is attacked for his lack of responsibility about a year after his vehicle flight offense in Dallas.
The former SMU star is still waiting for eight criminal accusations to be presented to a great jury of the Dallas county who will decide if the case against him will proceed.
Without accusation or bill, rice and victims, who pursue legal action against him, were put in limbo.
In the middle of the break, a lawyer involved in the civil affair insisted that the stature of Rice and the position of his lawyer in state policy had an “excessive influence” in the procedure.
Kyler Coker, who represents the company which rented one of the total cars of the accident, blamed the delay in the Dallas county prosecutor’s office.
“If it was another person other than a football player who has kept a state senator, it would have become very different,” said Coker. “I don’t want everyone to forget it, and I don’t want to let the guy go.”

A spokesperson for the DA office refused to comment, quoting the pending case, according to Dallas’s morning news.
Two vehicles were linked to Rice, 23, during the accident. The cars accelerated on the highway and lost control, which led to an accident that involved four other vehicles. The six occupants of the two cars fled the premises before the authorities arrived.
The Cornerback Rice and SMU Teddy Knox were identified as the drivers of vehicles represented the accident of March 30.
The vehicles involved were a sports vehicle Sport Lamborghini and a Corvette, the first rented by Rice.
According to police reports, four people were minor injuries in the accident.
On April 3, Rice apologized to the injured parties and took responsibility for the accident. Rice’s lawyer also said that the star of the chiefs “would do everything in his power” to bring normality to the life of the victims.
However, the representatives of the victims said that Rice had not yet lived up to his public promises.
