Aimee Lou Wood attracted a lot of attention to its distinctive appearance of gap teeth, with a lot of praising it as authentic refreshing for Hollywood. But the star of “White Lotus” is not too happy to fix his appearance.
The 31 -year -old Briton, who plays Chelsea, a favorite character from fans of the successful HBO, spoke to British GQ of all comments on his appearance – in particular his Overced projection.
Wood told GQ that the accent on his teeth had come to give him the impression that there was something “clumsy” that she has not yet “repaired” on herself.
“It really makes me happy that it symbolizes rebellion and freedom, but there is a limit,” she said. “All the conversation is almost my teeth, and it makes me a little sad because I am not talking about my work.”
She added that she could not help wondering if the same level of attention would be granted to the appearance of a male actor. “I don’t know if he was a man to talk about it so much?” Wood said, who also played a favorite of fans on Netflix’s “sex education”.
She admitted to feel unsure and become aware of her “oddity” even before the broadcast of the series, while turning it to Thailand.
A moment that stood out was when a producer told him that the creator of the show, Mike White, fought to throw it.
“Someone told me how Mike had fought for me. They said “it should be you, no matter what HBO said,” she recalls.
“It was honestly the most beautiful place, but my little head said:” HBO didn’t want me. And I know why HBO didn’t want me, it’s because I’m ugly. Mike had to say “Please let me have the ugly girl!” “She said to the magazine. (HBO, like CNN, belongs to Warner Bros. Discovery.)
Another time, while turning a scene where her character, Chelsea, runs to her boyfriend, Rick, on the beach, she remembered a cameraman praising her “strange race”.
“Frank, the cameraman, says” this choice you made with the strange race? It is genius “”, she recalls. “And I’m leaving”, Frank, it’s My run.'”
