Kirk Medas, MTV reality star Floribama Shoreis dead. He was 33 years old.
Medas died Friday following complications with liver inadequacy, his father told TMZ.
“We are deeply saddened to learn the tragic death of Kirk Medas, a beloved member of the Floribama Shore family ”, an MTV spokesperson shared in a statement to THR. “Our hearts go to his family, friends and fans during this difficult period.”
Medas joined the distribution of Floribama ShoreThis is the first season in 2017. He played in the series during his four -season race on MTV before its cancellation. He was one of the main members of the series alongside Aimee Hall, Nilsa Prwant, Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Kortni Gilson, Candace Rice and Gus Smyrnios.
Alongside Prwant, Hall and Buoni, Medas was presented in a special Fear factor episode where the Floribama Shore rivalled flow Jersey Shore: family vacation‘S Deena Nicole Cortese, Snooki, Pauly D and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. He also appeared in the comedy mini-series Everyone hates Kyle in 2022.
THURSDAY, Floribama Shore Star Hall shared on Instagram that his “friend Kirk has been in the USI for more than two weeks now, fighting a serious case of necrotizing pancreatitis”. There, she also shared a gofundme to help with the “overwhelming expenses” of Medas, which her other co-star Prwant also published on her Instagram profile.
After the news of Medas’ death, Hall published a tribute where she wrote that she had “lost a brother, a best friend and paradise won the most beautiful angel”.
“We are all trying to treat this unimaginable loss. Kirk was the glue that kept us all together. He loved each of us so deep, with a hearter heart than this world,” she wrote in the legend of the post. “A sweet day, I know we will all be together. Until then, I will miss it every day.”
