It is finally possible to buy an audio book from the Spotify iPhone application with only a few taps. Spotify announced on Monday that Apple approved an update that allows users of the United States to see audio prices in the application and buy individual audio books outside the App Store.
The update also allows Spotify Premium subscribers buy additional hours of listening. This change follows last month Epic games against Apple Decision, which upset the control of the iPhone manufacturer on the App Store. Under the decision, Apple cannot receive fees on purchases made outside the App Store, and it cannot govern the way developers indicate external purchases.
