Singer and actress Marianne Faithfull died at the age of 78, said her spokesperson.
Faithfull was known for his tubes which included tears, which reached the top 10 of the United Kingdom in 1964, and with roles in films, including The Girl on Motorcycle from 1968.
She was also famous for the girlfriend of Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger in the 1960s, and continued to resuscitate his career after hitting difficult moments in the 70s.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of the singer, composer and actress Marianne Faithfull,” said a press release.
“Marianne died peacefully in London today, with her loving family.
“We will miss a lot.”
