The double Olympic PV Sindhu medalist underwent an early outing of the Badminton All England Open championships for a fourth consecutive year after having undergone a defeat of 21-19, 13-21, 13-21 in the hands of Kim Ga-Eun in South Korea.

The PV Sindhu collapsed from the Badminton Open All England championships in the first round after having been defeat 21-19, 13-21, 13-21 in the hands of Kim Ga-Eun in South Korea in Birmingham on Wednesday. The double Olympic medalist found himself on the losing side despite a nervous victory in the first match against his opponent of the lower row.
Kim, who sits 63 places below Sindhu in the 79th in the last BWF ranking, retaliated in style in the first round battle which lasted a little more than an hour and did not allow Sindhu to find its pace in the next two games.

Sindhu leaves Birmingham early for the fourth year of racing
Sindhu has now had four consecutive outings of the prestigious tournament that has existed since 1899 and which has taken place in Arena Birmingham since 1994.
Since his defeat in the semi-finals against Thai Pornpawee Chochuwong in 2021, Sindhu has suffered outings in the first round in 2023 and in the current edition and lost in the second round in 2022 and 2024.
Since he missed the podium at the Paris Olympic Games after a 16 -year -old round against He Bingjiao in China, which would win Silver, Sindhu has had quarter -finals at the Denmark Open and Open India, the latter marking his first event of the year.

Sen, who had narrowly missed a first Olympic medal in Paris after losing his bronze medal playoffs against Lee Zii Jia in Malaysia, faces Jonathan Cristie de l’Insta in the round of 16.
