The Steelers added the quarter-arre Aaron Rodgers. This decision has not added much to their Paris ratings for 2025.
At Draftkings, the Steelers went from an outsider +4500 to win the Super Bowl at +4000. Although this reflects a certain movement, he always has them like 40-1 shots to win their seventh Lombardi trophy.
Other sports books have not changed the coasts of the Super Bowl at all, after the Rodgers. Via Ben Fawkes of Yahoo Sports, the Steelers ratings remain 45-1 in Betmgm.
The chances have not changed because the rodgers movement was expected. As Fawkes noted, the Steelers opened at 80-1 to win the Super Bowl.
Even with Rodgers, the Steelers remain definitely below elite teams such as the Bills (+700), the Ravens (+700), the Chiefs (+750) and the Bengals (+2000). Even Loads and Broncos – both at +2500 – are considered to be betting better better than the Steelers to win everything.
A sports book framework summed up the situation in frank terms.
“Rodgers was horrible,” Westgate Las Vegas, VP from Risk Ed Salmons, told Fawkes. “Before breaking his Achilles, his last year in Green Bay, he was not good. Since the injury (Achille), he cannot move – he throws him away so that he is not touched. (Mason) Rudolph and Rodgers are the same for me.”
Most would say that both are not the same. The question is whether, with Rodgers, the Steelers become something other than a team that arrives in the playoffs and could or may not win an eliminatory match for the first time in nine years.
