The senior Russian official has maximum damage ” on Ukraine while American aid stops

Former President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said the Kremlin should support the attack on the battlefield while the United States suspended arms supplies in Ukraine.

“Inflicting a maximum of damage to the enemy on the ground remains our main objective today,” wrote Medvedev in an article on social networks on Wednesday.

Medvedev noted that President Donald Trump had interrupted American aid on Monday.

However, he said that Ukraine’s disadvantage of the help of aid in the United States would only exist for a limited-term window.

“As soon as the agreement is concluded, American weapons supplies will likely resume (especially since Europe has already increased them),” wrote Medvedev.

“Russia is progressing,” he added. “The enemy resists and is not yet defeated.”

Medvedev, who was the president of Russia from 2008 to 2012, then his Prime Minister for eight years later, still occupies a key position in the best military decision -making body in the Kremlin.

He is now the vice-president of the Security Council, ranking behind only the Russian chief Vladimir Putin.

The former president is no stranger to the bellicist rhetoric towards Ukraine and the United States, previously threatening nuclear attacks against Western cities if NATO deployed soldiers in Ukraine. He also called for a “maximum reward” on such troops.

His new message comes as The Air Force of Ukraine reported that Russia had attacked Tuesday with three ISKANDER ballistic missiles, alongside the regular daily dam of Moscow of more than 100 Shahed attack drones.

Russia’s ballistic missile attacks are rarer than its drone assaults and usually come every few weeks. This time, he launched a salvo the same evening as Trump’s address at the Congress.
