A second man was arrested in the context of alleged criminal fire attacks in northern London in properties related to Sir Keir Starmer.
The 26 -year -old was arrested on Saturday at London Luton airport, suspected of conspiracy to commit a criminal fire with the intention of endangering life.
The arrest concerns three incidents: a vehicle fire in the city of Kentish, a fire at the Prime Minister’s private house in the same street, and a fire at an address he previously lived in northwestern London.
Another man, Roman Lavrynovych, 21, that the BBC includes is a manufacturer and a roofer, appeared on Friday in court and is accused of three criminal fire leaders with the intention of endangering life after fires. He did not call.
The 26 -year -old man is in police custody in London.
The command of counter-terrorism of the metropolitan police conducted the investigation into fires due to the link with a high-level public personality.
Emergency services responded to a fire in the early hours of Monday at the Kentish City House where Sir Keir lived before becoming Prime Minister and moving into 10 Downing Street.
Police were alerted by London firefighters to information reporting at the residential address at 01:35 BST.
Damage was caused at the entrance to the property, but no one was injured.
It is understood that Sir Keir still has the property and rents it.
On May 8, a car that Sir Keir sold to a neighbor in 2024 caught fire in the same street.
In the early hours of Sunday, the firefighters treated a small fire at the front door of a house transformed into apartments in Islington nearby, previously the Prime Minister.
One person has been helped to get in safety via an internal staircase by crews bearing a respiratory system, previously said the fire brigade.
