The San Jose project with hundreds of houses advance with a real estate agreement

San Jose – A great development of housing in San Jose with hundreds of apartments and row houses pushes forward following a purchase of a veteran residential manufacturer of the property necessary for the project.

Summerhill Homes, acting through a subsidiary, paid $ 13.5 million for the property where the accommodation should have germinated, according to documents deposited on April 30 with the office of the County of Santa Clara.

The development site is located at 210 Baypoint Parkway and would replace a one -stage office and a research building totaling 67,000 square feet, according to San Jose planning documents.

Comerica Bank offered Summerhill Homes a construction loan of $ 43.2 million, according to the county ownership files.

JT Associates sold the 4.3 acres site to the Summerhill affiliate. The building was empty in early May, a direct observation of the project site by this organzing of new watch.

Summerhill plans to develop a seven -storey apartments building with 292 units on part of the site.

Nearby on the site, Summerhill also obtained approval to develop 42 houses in a three -story row, according to San Jose planning files.

“The building will have a full range of interior and exterior recreational equipment, including a
Pool and spa on a complex landscaped podium courtyard, roof terraces, a club room and a fitness studio, “said Summerhill Homes in a project story he provided to city officials.

Summerhill thinks that the project will benefit the area where development would be built.

“The redevelopment of this high -quality residential industrial site will improve the neighborhood and will be more compatible with surrounding residential uses,” said Summerhill.

A demolition and new development period was not immediately known.

“The site is ideally located for professionals looking for a house adjacent to large employers in the northern region of San Jose and will give access to housing for rare sale as well as to the new class A residences,” said Summerhill.
