SAN JOSE – A several -month investigation into an alleged brothel operation in San Jose ended with the arrest of two suspects at the end of March and in early April, police announced.
On March 28, the police served asset mandates in commercial properties suspected of accommodating brothels in the Willow Street block, the 1000 Bloc of Tully Road and the 200 avenue North Jackson, the San Jose police sergeant. Jorge Garibay said in a press release.
Garibay said the police also served a mandate in a house in the 1300 block in Bagley Way.
The agents met three alleged commercial sex workers while serving the mandates, said Garibay, adding that community solutions provided them with support and resources.
In the property of Willow Street, police arrested Bili Ruan, 50, from San Jose, suspected of Postness, said Garibay.
Garibay said that 46, 46, from San Jose, had been identified as the main operator of the brothels, but it was not present when the terms were served. A mandate was issued for her arrest suspected of pimping and was arrested on April 2.
Ruan and Tran were both reserved in the main prison of Santa Clara County in San Jose.
When searching for properties, the police recovered evidence that they were used as brothel houses, as well as $ 25,000 in cash and several handbags and designer jewelry worth more than $ 200,000.
The investigation lasted three months and came from a previous case, said Garibay.
