The Samsung Galaxy Ring would cost €449

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Ring earlier this year, but we’ll get all the final details next week. Ahead of Samsung’s Unpacked event, a new report offers a sneak peek at the Galaxy Ring’s price.

Smart rings aren’t the cheapest form of health tracking. The Oura Ring, one of the original options and still one of the best in the industry, starts at $299. Others, like those from RingConn, start a bit lower at $279.

Before the Galaxy Ring launched, pricing was a big question. Back in May, rumors suggested the wearable could cost upwards of $300 and possibly come with a subscription, but we haven’t heard much since.

NOW, Dealabs offers a glimpse of the Galaxy Ring’s price.

According to a new report, the Galaxy Ring will reportedly start at €449 in France. The Galaxy Ring will reportedly be available from July 19 in 13 sizes and 3 colors, as previously announced.

Direct conversions for these prices are rarely perfectly indicative of Samsung’s strategy, but this would put the Ring close to $500. That’s highly unlikely, though. For comparison, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic in its 47mm variant costs €449 in France, but $429 in the US, which seems much more realistic for the Ring, even if it’s still a bit higher than competing smart rings.

It’s not yet clear whether or not Samsung will charge a subscription to use the Galaxy Ring, but it will have a big impact on pricing.

Samsung is set to fully unveil the Galaxy Ring on July 10 at its upcoming Unpacked event, which will also see the launch of new foldables, watches, and possibly more.
