New Parisian Saturday under the sign of yellow vests. Four years after the “first act” of the movement, which had brought together nearly 290,000 people in France according to government figures, an appointment was given on November 19 at Place de la Bourse.

“It is important to mark the occasion, by recalling that there was no political response”, confides to RT France Priscilla Ludosky. “Unfortunately the person who was the cause of the state violence committed against the wounded is still in power”, continues this figure of the popular movement born on November 17, 2018.

“Not only his political responses were not up to par, but the people who were injured were not recognized as such by the president,” she said.

“I remind you that the people who were injured were not violent, they were not prosecuted. Which means that in France, in a democracy, we have politically disabled people”, affirms Priscilla Ludosky, considering that it is “important that we accompany them, psychologically, financially and […] medically”.

Proposals that refer to those of deputies of La France insoumise (LFI). During a press conference organized on November 17 at the Bourbon Palace, and to which Priscilla Ludosky had been rightly invited, rebellious elected officials had presented their “legislative action plan” in order to do justice to the “mutilated” and “police repression”. Among the objectives presented by the deputy Raquel Garrido: the “recognition by the State of the dysfunctions” as well as the creation “of a counter where people could receive legal, financial and psychological support”.

As a reminder, according to the Ministry of the Interior, during the various “acts” on Saturday in Paris and on the roundabouts of France, 1,900 demonstrators were injured, some of them seriously with the loss of an eye or of a member. Eleven people died, mostly in accidents at roadblocks.
