Jerusalem (AP) – A man in Israel died after being attacked by a shark, the victim’s police and the wife said on Wednesday, after having bathed in an area that attracts dozens of marine predators and also curious beachs.

“Barak entered the water to dive and document the sharks, not to feed them or play with them,” wrote Sarit Tzach. She said that a fisherman who was with her husband said he had not touched them or did not feed them.
When the Sharks approached too closely, she said, he used the stick holding his camera to “distribute them gently”. The fisherman then recalled Tzach on the shore and returning slowly, he was attacked, wrote Sarit Tzach.
It was only the third attack on sharks recorded in Israel, according to Yigael Ben-Ari, head of the marine rangers of the authority of nature Israel and parks. One person was killed in an attack in the 1940s, he said.
The police and rescue teams organized a two -day search after the attack and said they were continuing to seek remains. The Israeli authorities closed the beach and the neighbors also after the attack.
