The release of season 3 of The Bear was brought forward at the last minute

The third season of The bear comes out a day earlier than expected.

Yes, boss, you heard correctly. The third season of the Emmy Award-winning drama, starring Jeremy Allen White as Chief Carmy, will now premiere Wednesday, June 26 at 9 p.m. ET.

The third season of the series was originally scheduled to premiere on Hulu and FX on Thursday, June 27. But if fans check Hulu, they’ll see that the time has since been updated.

The 10-episode season will be released in its entirety on the same day.

The bear follows award-winning chef Carmy as he attempts to turn his late brother’s sandwich shop into a gourmet destination. Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Ayo Edebiri also star.

The chaotic comedy-drama, documenting the lives of employees at a Chicago sandwich shop, was one of the biggest hits at this year’s TV celebrations, including the Golden Globes, Emmys and Critics Choice Awards.

White, Edebiri and Moss-Bacharach have received numerous accolades for their acting talents, as well as for the series in general.

The series debuted in 2022, followed by a second season in 2023.

Although the third season has yet to air, it has been reported that the series has already been picked up for a fourth season.

Corey Hendrix, who plays Gary “Sweeps” Woods in The bearrecently spoke to The independent on the future of the series.

“Of course, I mean it could last forever. But I think we can easily do four more seasons or something like that,” he said. “Because the first two seasons were great but I still feel like we’re not really there yet.”

He continued: “The first season is the introduction. The second season is like we’re trying to see if we can build this restaurant and now (in the third season) it’s like, okay, let’s see what happens. Let’s see if this is a good idea. So I always think it’s like everyone’s always trying to get there. So I feel like there are still a lot of seasons left The bear.”

The decision to film two seasons of the program without interruption is believed to be due to the actors’ schedules, with Edebiri and White being in particular demand.

In a previous interview with The GuardianMoss-Bachrach, who plays Carmy’s best friend Richie, admitted that fans shouting his character’s nickname (Cousin) at him in public had become infuriating.

“Sometimes, you know, you just don’t have a good day,” he said. “And it’s just like: I’m sorry, man, I don’t have much for you.”

The bear Season three debuts on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the UK on Wednesday June 26.
