With Android 16 QPR1 Beta 1, Google has redesigned the cursor and the volume panel, while the multimedia player sees small adjustments.
What appears when you physically adjust the volume is always housed in a pill -shaped container, but the cursor is now more rectangular with a handful of material 3. When you press the upper button to vibrate, dumb or all, your current selection is always placed in a circle, but the other two are now squares.
If the audio plays, an animated waveform now appears at the bottom of the cursor. Otherwise, it is a three -point icon.
The full volume panel in Android 16 QPR1 offers updated cursors, which are thinner than what preceded.
Google has not yet updated the parameter application> Sound & Vibration with the new cursors from Beta 1, although everything else on this page adapts to the style of preferences.
The multimedia player is mainly unchanged, except for the reading button which is no longer a circle, while pause is a rounded rectangle. There is always the lava lamp effect and the radiant wave when you press the Play / Pause button.
Google has changed the output switch so that “connect the device” is a much smaller button, while the new cursors are also used.
Old vs new
In other audio changes, we see “audio sharing” in settings> connection preferences on a pixel 9. It appeared and was then drawn during the overview of the Android 16 developer.
