WWE made a suspension from Kayfabe to Gunther after his attack on Pat McAfee during the last episode of Monday Night Raw.
According to a report by Cory Hayes, the absence of Gunther of WWE programming stems from a personal request for leave, which the company has approved.
Currently, there is no official word at the moment when Gunther will return. The Austrian star recently suffered a defeat against Jey Uso at Wrestlemania 41: Night One.
Gunther is a former world heavyweight champion and holds records as the oldest intercontinental champion and the oldest British NXT champion in WWE history.
