The reality star KC Osborne revealed how much his fiancée – the Australian jockey Blake Spriggs – was to die after his horror fall in Moruya on January 17.
Spriggs, 32, suffered multiple serious injuries, especially in the head, shoulders, chest and internal after an incident involving his hoop compatriot.
When questioned if Spriggs plans to return to the race, Osborne stressed that the couple – and their son Brooklyn – adopt a cautious approach.
“He weighed mentally mentally,” she told Daily Mail Australia.
“We have a few other scans that must be carried out in the coming months.
“It really depends on many things, that doctors and specialists will let it go back.
“I think that for Blake, which is so scary, is how close he was to die. He had five blood transfusions in the helicopter at the hospital.
Spriggs knows that he deceived death – and Osborne confirmed that he had undergone shoulder surgery a fortnight ago after fractures on both sides – and also broke several coasts, suffered two perforated lungs and had a hemorrhage near his liver.

In addition, Spriggs was placed in an induced coma.
If that was not enough, Spriggs obtained pneumonia in the hospital and his kidneys failed, so he had to go into dialysis.
Osborne labeled her husband the “Miracle Man” – and said he was determined to see the son of the Brooklyn couple becoming a boy from a toddler.
“Now he’s going very well. He walks. He eats. It is quite dynamic, ”she said.
“He is really positive because he likes to do his physiotherapy and he is determined to come back very strong again.
“Now just the broken bones that must heal. He was just incredible with the way he faced such a horrible and crazy accident.
Group 1 Spriggs winning rider moved to the Queensland of NSW shortly before the incident.
The family of three is based on the southern side of the Brisbane River, a short trip of the Eagle Farm training facilities.
