President of the Aristotle circle, Pierre-Yves Rougeyron gives an update for RT France on the corruption scandal that has stained the European Parliament, one of the vice-presidents of which is worried in an investigation involving Qatar.

Greek socialist MEP Eva Kaili, one of the vice-presidents of the European Parliament, was arrested on the evening of December 9 in Brussels in an investigation into suspicions of corruption involving Qatar. The elected Greek and four other people were imprisoned, as announced on December 11 by a judicial source quoted by AFP. The federal prosecutor’s office did not provide any names when announcing the provisional detention of four of the six people arrested in the past 48 hours.
