The Ravens are hot on the heels of the Bills with a divisional round battle coming up; Rams and Texans jump

And just like that, we have eight left.

It’s officially the offseason for three quarterbacks in the NFL, including six teams fresh off Wild Card Weekend. I’ll take a look at the future of these half-dozen organizations, with some really interesting quarterback situations among the topics of conversation.

But the real problem is the upcoming divisional rounds. Pound for pound it’s the best football weekend, I say. And after five of the six wild card games were decided by two or more scores, getting four bangers in this round would really be perfect.

On paper, the clashes look pretty formidable, and they’re simmering at full speed Sunday night.

The Texans enter the weekend having put together their best performance in at least a month. Can they return to Arrowhead and catch the slow-moving Chiefs during their extended break?

Commanders-Lions is our Saturday night special, as fascinating a match as you could hope for at this point. Jayden Daniels against the injury-riddled but resilient Lions defense.

The fearless and fighting Rams will fly to Philadelphia with emotion, having eliminated the 14-win Vikings with relative ease. Are the Eagles on watch in Sunday’s opener?

To top it all off, it’s the presumed centerpiece of the weekend: Ravens at Bills. You know the storylines, headlined by arguably the two most dangerous quarterbacks in the NFL today. This looks like a real throwing game, so much so that I moved the Ravens up in these rankings, putting them right on the heels of the Bills. If Buffalo hadn’t rallied after an early haymaker from Denver to finally blow out the Broncos, I probably would have edged the Ravens ahead of the Bills. Sunday evening will determine whether I made the right choice or not. The way Baltimore is playing, I’m prepared to get a bad rap.
