The quest for the Copper Cape is almost complete

Place a copper golem statue in the game

The cape is a majestic piece of clothing, and nothing screams fashionable more than striking a pose. So that’s exactly what we’re all going to do! Place a Copper Statue in-game (Minecraft: Bedrock Edition only) before 10:00 PDT on October 20, 2025. That’s it. Pick a pose, choose a location and place it in one of your Minecraft worlds and voila!

There are two ways to complete this challenge in the game. You can either wait for one of your copper golems to completely oxidize into a statue, pick it up and place it back so it counts towards the challenge, or simply use creative mode. If you’re playing Survival, don’t get distracted by that gorgeous green hue and forget about pickup and placement! Choice and location are key here. This move will probably be trending on TikTok by the time you read this, that’s how important it is!

The choice is yours, buddy! Whatever you decide, place this magnificent copper golem statue and you will receive your cape by October 31, 2025 so you can continue building with copper in style!

Take part in WatchTime quests

The Copper Cloak can also be yours through a series of WatchTime quests on Twitch or TikTok. On TikTok, watch 3 minutes of Minecraft on any Game Reward-enabled stream. On Twitch, visit one of the Twitch partner or affiliate channels streaming in the Minecraft category and watch 5 minutes or more of their stream. Once you have the code for WatchTime Quest, go to http://minecraft.net/redeem and enter the code to unlock your front cape November 19, 2025.

Claim it in person at MCC/Twitchcon in San Diego

If you’d rather make an appearance in the real world, the cape can also be yours with an in-person code giveaway at TwitchCon San Diego between October 17-19, 2025. Head over to the Minecraft booth and get your own physical code for your very virtual but real Copper Cloak which you can redeem at http://minecraft.net/redeem en November 19, 2025.

The final deadline for the challenge is October 13 at 8 a.m. PDT to October 20 at 10 p.m. PDT. Congratulations on reaching the end of the challenge, and once again – great job! However you earn your cape, I hope you feel fabulous in it. The only thing more beautiful than the copper cloak is this community. We did it!

*Participating in this challenge and redeeming the in-game cape reward requires Minecraft: Bedrock Edition or Minecraft: Java Edition (each sold separately). To earn your in-game cape, complete one of these options between 8:00 a.m. PT on October 13 and 10:00 a.m. PT on October 20, 2025:
