The quarter of university football forced to retire due to a major injury

After five seasons playing university football, a former winner-winning quarter of the Power-5 conference championship announced his retirement from the sport.

Cameron Rising, who played four seasons at the University of Utah, revealed that he will not pursue a professional football career.

Rising was one of the best quarters of the sport in 2022, but underwent a series of injuries that removed it from the field.

Last season, he had to be a better passer in the country before a hand injury just three games from the season ended his campaign.

“Due to a manual injury that I suffered during Baylor’s game, I was informed by two orthopedic doctors that I can never return to football,” said Rising in an article in his Instagram history.

“I will get a 3rd medical opinion and undergo the recommended surgery. I will continue to readjust and do everything I can to be healthy.

“In the meantime, I will unfortunately be forced to withdraw my medically from the game I like.

Originally from southern California, Rising was a quarter-class classified three stars from the high school.
